Religion has a disproportionate influence on politics here in Tennessee. For example, a big reason why cannabis remains illegal here, even for medicinal purposes, is because the Southern Baptist church opposes it. Governor Bill Lee is a religious zealot who believes that if the church is against it, that means Jesus is against it too. Although 81% of Tennesseans want medicinal cannabis legalized, the entire state is being held hostage to the governor's religious beliefs.

One would hope that many of the small farms there might have a few plants tucked away here & there! I'm convinced that religion in this country will be the cause of the next major conflict. IT HAS TO STOP!
