the weird bent wood around at the left hands side was ivy that had grown around a tree and was put in a peat bog till it got naturally stained and came off the tree it was climbing all round you can see a small part of our ancient walled garden there...

I'm in zone 6. Been working on my yard and gardens for a while. This year, dedicating a 30 by 60 foot area for raised beds, a small green house and a granny smith apple tree.
