Question

Parties are bad enough but what sadist invented party games? They're this introvert's worst nightmare. As soon as they announce "Let's play a game" they might as well be yelling FIRE!

Does anyone else get totally freaked out by this?

It depends on the game and the people involved, but "let's play a game" is often my cue to sneak quietly out the back.

I kinda like games because they give me something to do and say (I usually excel at them) that doesn’t involve making inane small talk and trying to think up conversation topics with strangers.

Depends on the crowd and the game. I refuse to go to any sort of shower anymore. Small group of friends playing pictionary or trivia yes. My ex's huge, noisy, family playing some sort of card game NO! A game with my family, fun but unlikely, lol.

The only party game I enjoy is the one where you put your car keys in a bowl and hope to get lucky.......Last time I went home with an Audi.
