Yeah, how exciting. Is your whole garden in buckets? I like that idea. My herbs are in large pots, but this year the snowplow driver destryed them, at least the plastic once by sideswippping them a few time. But wouldn't you know , i see green in there.

I have 3 gallon buckets, 20 gallon buckets, a 6 foot diameter livestock water tank, and the rest is in the ground. I use drip irrigation, basin farming, and ollas to water my garden.

That’s cool my step daughter is really in to knitting. I may have to grow some net year so she spin her own cotton

I haven't done it but I hear Spinning cotton is a whole different thing from wool

I'll try to get it to survive and make a mature plant. Stay tuned!

Thanks! I had this crazy idea to grow just a few dozen the size of small trees and market them as Fall decor. The ultimate ornamental plant.

Posted by SurfpirateIt always amazes me when a person asks me why I do something as fundamental and sustainable as gardening.

Posted by bigpawbulletsDay two. I wonder if growing this fast is physically painful. The beak on the one is impressive.
