It seems that my Coleus plants have an alluring taste to the local stray cats. I don't know what the plants exude from their leaves but I just found one very ' high' tomcat happily licking at the leaves, it absolutely NO notice of me, its eyes were ...

We've 3 bathrooms in our house. Mine, Linda's & ours. This is the current status of the bathtub in mine. Keeping the door closed eliminates "cat gardening".

I found a decomposing dead fish that washed up from the lake when I was mowing this afternoon. I decided to play Indian and buried it about a foot down in my sickly asoaragus bed. If the cat doesn't dig it up it's bound to help some.

Ooh, I love weekends in spring. I get to feel industrious. Just finished encircling my new raspberry patch in chicken wire to discourage the stray cats from digging it all up as their litter box. I left a long strip the length of the plot exposed....

They call them pussy-willows, But there’s no cat to see Except the little furry toes That stick out on the tree: I think that very long ago, When I was just born new, There must have been whole pussy-cats Where just the toes stick through--- And ...

Henbit could probably best be described as a weed. It grows wild here in North Texas in the yard and the garden. But I have grown fond pf these little flowers. The color is pretty, the shape of the flower is interesting even if it is quite small. ...

Had Hurricane Irma (Cat 4) hit my island in 2017. This was my backyard three days later. Been a slow recovery. Took a year to just remove the dead trees etc. to begin over again.

Took the tiny humans out over the weekend to visit some different gardens in our neighborhood. We got to see some of the early spring beauties and meet the neighbors. Made friends with some cats and a dog too so not a bad weekend at all. ?
