We knew this would happen. I still cannot believe the Log Cabin Republicans that voted for and still support tRumph and his henchmen.

Agreeing with that article and going a little further...

  • The trans military ban.
  • withdrawing advice on respecting the needs of trans students.
  • recent comments from trans people about having passports revoked.

These are points 2, 5 and 1 from the FRC’s 5 point plan to deal with the “transgender problem”. (It’s on their website. Go look)

What does the Family Research Council (a hate group) have to do with the administration? Try looking up their President “Tony Perkins” along with the phrase “Oval office”. Many of the stories talk about regular and unusual access that Perkins has to the President.

Yeah. Our nation is in big, big, trouble.

I can’t begin to understand how you can be a Gay Republican. The two are incompatible and mutually exclusive in my opinion.

It's not that surprising when you realize gay Republicans are typically self-hating gay men who just want lower taxes for themselves and to be accepted by straight Republicans.

PDXNorm Level 4 July 31, 2018

There's that but there's also simple greed. Gay couples have much greater savings and investments so taxation becomes the issue for voting. They are okay and don't much care about how other gays are doing. They see life as cruel so deal with it. The idea of freely expressing love is a laughable proposition so they don't bother considering its importance to anyone. They might be right, too.

I'll never forget the gay man, holding a rainbow flag and wearing a MAGA hat screaming at me that "Obama did NOTHING FOR US!" He swore trump would fight for all of our rights. I wonder if he still believes that....

Yeah, this sucks. And the LGBTQ aspect is really only an aspect of an even larger evangelical takeover of the government. It's truly frightening to me.

It should be.
