Does anyone think we are being forced to worship the flag? I am not terrified, but I am in a lot of pain at what I am witnessing. I am angry.

Not at all. I think it terrifies a great number of us. If the midterms don't fall blue in a dramatic fashion in November, I'm contemplating my exit strategy.
