I'm 65, totally disabled by the VA, my response in the to the question in the ER at the VA was check your fucking records. if it's not there, I'm not taking it.

This is hilarious to me , brings back memories !!!
In 1995 , while in USA barely two months , and after an MI already on 1993 , I am home alone w chest pain ( husband at the time deployed ).
Arriving at military hospital w my medical record on hands , and English worse than now , the ED doc asked me among other things , " are u taking any drugs ".
And I wanted to punch him on the face ! MF , do I look to u like I am taking drugs , and how dare u ! I have a stent and I am here w chest pain , r u f serious ??
In Italian and Greek every day talk , Drugs = cocaine , heroin , marijuana , etc .
Anything else = Medicine .
24 yrs later , and juuuuust in case , at other side of the fence , I always ask " any illegal drugs that I need to know ma'am / sir "?
