Best remedy for whatever ails you. I must do that soon, because there is none in the freezer.

The only part of the gumbo i freeze is the rue, I always end up with about 4 times as much as i will be able to use in one cooking.

@glennlab You could always send it to me. Glad you don’t use that jar roux. I freeze almost the whole batch, without the shrimp because that doesn’t freeze well. I also add the okra after defrosting.
