I think that's a little high because even though I'm not a girl I know my phone number. The FCC lets you keep your phone number as you move from carrier to carrier.I have had the same phone number for 40 years. But I cancel my landline I get the number.

Jo, the point was not that the 'girls' (women) didn't know their number, but won't 'answer' (tell) guys what it is. It's a comment on women being smart & not just giving their number out to just anyone, especially the fictional loser of this Meme who is striking out big-time! That's why I headlined it "Can't or Won't". I hope that clears things up.
@phxbillcee obviously I needed an explanation, I am now wiping the egg off my face. Yes I tend to take things literally.
@Lorajay No problem, dear. We all do that at some time or another. I hope I didn't come across as condescending, but I could tell you missed the point. Sometimes it's my fault if I don't make things clear.
