In my experience? The "nice guy" has usually done or said Something horribly off putting. Like, yelling about school shooters in a crowded bar and spitting on the womans arm because he's so worked up about the conversational topic. Or completely ignoring her friends like they're not there. ( yes this exact scenario happened to me not so long ago) The guy in question is usually completely unaware of how he's perceived. Its weird.

wow, that guy has got some serious issues. Nice guys, depending on the term of just "how nice is nice" can be disturbing and down right annoying. But a mixture of decent and bad is a good combo.
