Guns are extremely dangerous. It's possible for some to fire if they are dropped the right way. There is one Remington rifle that they have been going around and around with that can fire out of nowhere. There are handguns that small children have found and fired killing themselves or their siblings. Any society that allows free will with dangerous weapons is failing their people. Which means we are failing ourselves, because we aren't protecting our friends and neighbors.

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I had a friend in Germany who, some years ago, was explaining the process there to even get a fishing license, let alone own a gun. He had to prove, in writing, that he had a legal place to fish, and take classes over several years related to fishing. Having a gun was difficult and expensive and was never in the home.
And yet they are more free than we, according to the folks who study that stuff.
