Speaking of nice covers.....Oberstufenchor Cusanus Gymnasium
Had to look this group up and found: "1650 Schülerinnen und Schülern sowie 130 Lehrerinnen und Lehrern zu den größten Gymnasien des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalens." 1650 students with 130 teachers and is the largest school of it's kind in Europe. Is located in the state of North Rhein Westfallen which is the NE part of Germany (where my uncle came from). They have a lot of other music concerts. Germany has a free university system but one has to be qualified and go through certain schools. The Gymnasium high school: Oberschule, Hauptschule, Realschule or Gymnasium. The Gymnasium is the third part of the "dreigliedriges Schulsystem". It encompasses grades 5 to 13 (or 5 to 12) and focuses relatively heavily on theory. At the end of the Gymnasium, there's a final examination called "Abitur". If you pass that, you have the "Hochschulreife", which means you can study at an university. We talk a lot about free college here but I doubt the supply will not be able to meet the demand so we will have to go to some system and other countries have.
BTW, this piece was great.
