Glad to hear it...he’s a very talented songwriter and one of the best guitarists I’ve ever heard perform.
@Marionville Yes. I've heard he is the most sought after session guitarists. I was introduced to Dire Straits in 1989 when I drove around the Lakes, Scotland, Ireland and Wales with my 2nd wife. Later I heard him as a soloist. But Sultans of Swing was an album I knew well.
