I'm currently listening to a 3 CD set "Celtic Spirit" issued here in Australia back in 2012 by Readers Digest # 3950006SL 1/2/3 and I'm entranced and delighted at the breadth and depth of contributors and tunes. These range (and here I'm not sure about the Celtic connection other than that the Irish have a habit of claiming everything for their own) from Sydney Carter's god bothering "Lord of the Dance" sung by a Canadian Irishman Will Millar through the Dubliners with "the Wild Rover" to Ewan McColl's paean to Salford in Lancashire "Dirty Old Town" sung on this compilation by Waxies Dargle.
In total there are more than 60 tunes and songs and about 40 different performers all praiseworthy for performance and continuance of the tradition.
I picked up my copy complete with very informative booklet crammed full of song and performer detail at an op shop for next to nothing. For anyone interested in "Traditional and Folkmusic" particularly if just starting out, I urge you to try and get your own copy of this compilation - you will still be playing it, your feet tapping or dancing you around the floor, and thanking me in fifty years time even though I will be long dead by then.
I would like to leave you with the complete set of three CD's to listen to but will allow the first tune that YouTube presents to be linked here:
And Blowzabella with "Marriage Marches" came up first.

The leaflet describes Blowzabella as "one of the most eccentrically creative bands in Celtic music. Formed in London in 1978, the group uses traditional instruments, including bagpipes, melodeon, bouzouki, and hurdy-gurdy, to create a raucous, energetic sound for dancing. The band's name is derived from a blustery 17th century jig and pub song Blowzabella (My Bouncing Doxie)".
Please enjoy.

"The Irish have a habit of claiming everything for their own". How very dare you! ?. There's quite a few out there claiming 'Irishness' as their own with very dubious evidence ???

Not I Simon.
