I saw Facundo Cabral twice... in Puerto Rico in the 70's when I was in College and in Washington DC in the Decade of the 2000's after my Naval Career. Facundo was a Teacher to me. The Song is maybe the Most Popular Song in Latin American Folklore. To Your Consideration... "The Axles of my Wagon".

He was the best Live Show you can find... Full of Anectdotes and Stories... No Need for Dancers or Fireworks... He was an Older Brother teaching while speaking to you about Life, The Bad and The Good. There were some albums that I played every morning before going to school... Jethro Tull "Thick as a Brick" and Facundo Cabral "Bellas Artes Concert in Mexico City Double Album... the Soundtracks of my Restless, Adventurous Youth.
