How do you feel about supplements? Do you take them? Are you leery of them?
The FDA doesn't heavily regulate supplements. Some people swear by them-- others swear against them. Where do you stand?

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I take a B+Multivitamin , Ginko Biloba , Coenzyme Q10 , DHEA , Lutine , Vitamin A , Ocuvite AREDS , L-Carnitine , L-Lysine , & a probiotic . All these I take either for improved mental function , eye health , or just over all better health in the name of delaying the inevitable for as long as practical . I swear by Ginko Biloba for improved mental function , but it takes 2 weeks of taking it before you notice a difference . I've had my lens pop out away from the rest of my eye from physical strain during constipation , & emotional stress . When that happens , it takes 6 months at least for it to heal . That's when I started to take Lutine & a lot of Vitamin A , & I swear by both . I eat very little meat , so I take the L-Carnitine to make up for it , as well as L-Lysine , that also helps with infection & flu .

I don't do much of anything. Mostly nothing, I understand that correct use do wonders. My son take some and I had seen the results. I am just too old to rebuild my body to optimum standards. My word will be CAUTION.

I prefer to buy supplements and essential oils at places like Whole Foods instead of places like Walgreens and Walmart. But if one eats a healthy and balance diet then supplements are not necessary. But I don't, so yeah I take supplements.
