If the Christian god is just, then how can their god choose a group of people (Israel) and say that they are better than the rest of humanity? Favoritism and justice cannot co-exist. Would you tell your children that you loved one more than the other? This is the same lie that racist groups like the black panthers try to claim, that they are the supreme race! If the Jews are going to say that they are god’s chosen people, then they are no different and are claiming to be the supreme race. So why would anyone want to believe in a group who claims to be the supreme race unless they were a part of that race? The answer is that Christians believe this lie because that is what they were taught since they were children, that the Jews are god’s chosen people! Since the pastor is educated in the bible (or claims to be), people just automatically believe that this must be true. Especially since most Christians have no idea what the bible actually says! So why are your pastors lying to you about the Jews being the chosen people of god, if they are not even a part of that race? If you do not believe in the Jewish religion, then you cannot believe in Christianity since it stems directly from the Jewish belief that sacrifice of life and blood is the only way to forgive sins! The real reason why pastors preach this blasphemy, so they can collect your tithes and offerings, so they can become rich or make a living off of you hard earned money! Racism is wrong, and teaching racism in order to make money is blasphemy against humanity. So any time you give money to the Christian church you are without a doubt supporting racism or the belief that the Jews are the supreme race of this world!
Christians will tell you that the Jews were only the chosen people in the sense that they were chosen to give us the Bible and the Messiah. No religion on the face of the earth has been more anti-semitic or massacred more Jews than Christianity.
A group of egyptian pagans slap the bible together None of it makes any sense, trying to translate real from false out of a bull shit book probably won't get anywhere. Having said that we have no way to know whos "gods people are" Cuz there is not even proof of a god let a lone who is people are and any thing written on his behalf would just be hear say until he got his lazy ass up and proved he was real. If that ever happened then id say maybe try to figure out what was real or false... until then quit wasting your time (religion and that bible has already stolen enough of it).
This is how I understand it. The Jews became God's chosen people because of the special relationship He formed with their ancestor Abraham. They never were special in the sense of being better quality human beings. Their own history acknowledges the many times they were anything but faithful to their god. But my dealings with Jewish people (which isn't much, to be honest) convinces me that they truly believe they are special and I find that nauseating. That claim is usually about their intellect rather than anything spiritual.
i noticed the jews in california hold themselves like the baptist here in texas... I guess there is always going to be that one special group where ever you go.
If they were never special or favored then why does their god forgive them over and over again but just destroys or kills everyone else? The Jews murdered millions in their old testament men, women and children just because they claim god told them to take these peoples land! why is it ok for Israel to murder for land but not ok for anyone else? Is that not favoritism?
Jewish myth doesn't claim that the Jewish people were chosen by God as special or to be His favourites, but were selected to perform a specific task or, as is often claimed in Jewish literature, to bear a burden: namely, to be "a light unto other nations," or live good and honest lives and be a force for good in the world - and, as breaking the promise to do so would also break the covenant with God, to face harsh punishment otherwise... God tells Amos "You only have I singled out of all the families of the earth: therefore will I visit upon you all your iniquities."
In fact, Judaism teaches that "Righteous people of all nations have a share in the world to come" (Sanhedrin 105a). Judaism, and Jews, are no better nor worse than any other religion or people, of course; however, he misconception that "chosen people" means Jews consider themselves to be better than anyone else has fueled a great deal of antisemitism, hence the need to correct it.
If they are not favored then why do they get to murder all the people in the so called promised land and claim that it is ok and that god told them to do it? Their god clearly states thou shalt not murder in their ten commandments but then tells them it is ok to murder every man woman and child who lives in their so called promised land! Is this not favoritism? Also Jesus himself says " you do not take bread from the children and throw it to dogs." He was referring to anyone who is not Jewish as dogs, so do you think he meant "dogs" as mans best friend? LOL Just something to think about!

Posted by CliffordCookIf the Christian Bible is such a great book, how come most Christians can’t bring themselves to read it all the way through even once?
Posted by CliffordCookIf Christians really believe in a god that is all powerful and will provide for all their needs, why do they keep on demanding taxpayer support for their struggling religious schools?
Posted by CliffordCookI groaned when I saw this Christian Nationalist Christmas meme posted by one of Donald Trump's supporters in Iowa. Then, I smiled when I saw how many of his Facebook friends had reposted it.
