Well it seems clear that there are some rank idiotic Tourists out there that either haven't heard the Covid Rules, Regulations and the Closed State Borders or are simply ignoring them.
I just got back from a shortish walk to the Supermarket about 1 and a half blocks away, did all the precautions, etc, etc, and what do I cop on the way home?
A really fancy Toyota Land-cruiser 4x4 with QLD registration plates and towing a caravan almost as big as house, they pulled over to the kerb, wound down the passenger's side window and asked for directions as to "how to get to Uluru because THEY want to visit it while things are quiet."
FFS, are they stupid or what I thought to myself, so I, instead, gave them directions to the Police Station but telling them that IT was the best place to get directions.
I watched as the moved down the street by about 100 metres, unhitched their caravan, turned around and headed in the direction I had given them, straight for the Cop Shop and either a good ear-blasting from the Cops or one very hefty fine.
Serves them right imho.
