I just returned from being in Thailand 2 months last week.
When I arrived at Bangkok, no bag on carousel.........Fuck!! Reported it, description of bag lah-dee-da went to hotel. Got hotel reception to keep ringing them next day, hassling them and finally got bag 2 days later (had to go shopping to buy jocks, shorts, shirt, toothbrush etc. Thank fuck dope is legal now in Thailand, no probs sourcing stress relief 
)
So I come home and they lose my f'n bag again, been a week now but finally arriving tonight......allegedly, at local airport. Then they will courier it to me tomorrow. The crazy thing is 3 airlines have had it; Malaysian airlines, QANTAS and Virgin. My bag has taken the scenic root and has been an airline slut.
Been flying for years regular (work) and this has never happened before. Must have lost all the good staff during covid. Next time, think I'll just have carry on luggage.

The attendant there said she knew my bags were not there but I could check anyway. I checked and the man was right. Mistakes are made. My trouble started because a delay in Chicago changed everything.

On the way back had 3 flights. Direct going there though. I should have made a sacrifice to the Luggage god.
Last year I was looking after a big red kelpie whose owners went up to Cairns. Not only was their luggage lost but so was their flight. In the end I never saw them again. Their friends had to come round for me to hand over the keys to them.
Despite that they have just booked me for a month in June - July so I'll get to look after the beautiful big red again. I'm looking forward to it.
