Warm.
@FrayedBear "Warm" you say, it's hot enough here to boil the eggs BEFORE the chooks have even laid them.
10am and already hitting 35.6 degrees.
@Triphid At the end of the thirteen year drought we had what seemed like a month of heat. Then Victoria burned and 300+ were killed. Now that was warm!
@FrayedBear My sympathies are with those affected by Bushfires always. Thankfully we don't such raging ones out here, far to much distance between thick stands of trees, etc, But we get the rare occasional scrub fire that sears its way through the native grasses, saltbush, bluebush, etc, often threatening Station Homesteads from time to time though.
@Triphid It took me a long time to comprehend that in the time it takes to make a cup of tea a fire can travel three or more miles.
we surely have to be prepared for more freak weather conditions in the future. the day i moved out of lismore in northern nsw, which was only early november, it showed 44 degrees at 80% humidity. i thought i'm gonna have a stroke.
