I might be a bit late to the party, but for those who like Scandinavian crime thrillers (or any type of mystery/crime books), have you read Jo Nesbo's Harry Hole series? I found Thirst (the 11th in the series I believe) at a bus stop and decided to take it home with me. Nesbo's writing style is very distinctive and I can see why he's so popular. I'm going to look into finding all the other books in the series on used/pre-owned book sites, I'm that hooked.
My introduction to the genre was Stieg Larsson's Millennium Trilogy which I also loved. It's been at least 10 years since I've read those, I'm considering re-reading them. Any other recommendations are welcome!
