There is an ongoing battle in my yard between the various Robin pairs that scrap it out quite viciously over mates and territory. This Rose-breasted Grosbeak showed up a couple of days ago at our reflecting pond but every time I have tried to snap a pic of him the sparrows have chased him away but not this evening, I got him.

I have two nesting pairs in the back of the house and at least two more pairs in the front, several more were chased off by the strong pairs.
