Dieties and Dave: An Introduction

This is a comment I made earlier that's just too good to lose...Ima just sit it right here and elaborate on it...sometime...maybe...

I was born agnostic, actually apatheistic, to a severe upbringing in a strict southern Baptist "church every Sunday though we're all going to hey-y'all" family.

I don't know, care and it doesn't matter to me if jehovoid is a 'real thing', never has. If he is, I'm going to hell in 1000 religions. If that's the case I'll enter happily those burny gates after all the misery and confusion he and his followers of over 2000 creeds have caused for over 4000 years.

Guess what?!? Jehovoid IS 'real'...to his followers and all the gods, goddesses, greater and lesser deities, demigods and various and sundry angels and devils. Furthermore a 'god' (etc) can be defined as a sum total of the behaviors of believers as a result of their beliefs is said god (etc). This makes jehofus a 'terrible god" indeed.

I have varying 'beliefs' in the gods of other fantasy writers and it's a "requirement", just as any such character (pun semi-intended) created by an author or recreated by an actor (I do both, and much more) must be as "believable" as possible.

As for other "faiths", I'm an (apatheistic) omnist, meaning there are some humanistic truths in all religions and I still don't care. I'm not a pantheist either, but I do toy with the concepts philosophically and "fantastically", though I still care more about those deities I've created and those so "charmed" by them.
