Nobody deserves cancer - There's a lung cancer stigma and it making people sick. Did you smoke or not is the question?
I never really smoked cigarettes but all my exes did or do. I really can't handle being around smoke. I am choosing a tobacco-free environment for the future. I'm waiting to see if I can find a roommate who feels the same way.
No, I just pretended to in high school! (I didn't inhale. Me and Bill Clinton. I was afraid to get cancer and I guess that saved me from getting addicted.) It's a shame how most smokers got addicted as children....
It's so mean when people get judgey about why someone got cancer. It's like how AIDS victims used to be treated. And lately on Facebook a lot of people are against saving drug addicts who've OD'd. ( I guess there's a new drug for emergency personel to administer and somehow that's controversial.) People can be so cruel when they are feeling righteous.
When I meet someone who has/had cancer I make it point NOT to ask if they smoked. NONE OF MY BUSINESS. We all do dumb stuff--like I ignored my cancer symptoms for months and months. And I don't eat right at all. I'm sure we are all judging ourselves plenty and DON'T NEED ANY HELP!
I had lung cancer, I did not smoke cigarettes but I smoke weed. I don't think it was from that though... But when ever I tell someone that I had lung cancer their first question is, "Did you smoke?"
People can be so thoughtless. A neighbor of mine who had lung cancer and never smoked, told me 10% to 30% of lung cancer victims never smoked. Could be pollution, radon, second hand smoke or just bad luck. Nobody should be judged.
