It's hard to see the stitching and materials. Any images of you working on it?

Robecology Level 9 Aug 13, 2020

I started to say no, as I live alone and don't generally take pictures as I'm working. Then I remembered as I laid it out I took pictures to share with my sister as she is also a quilter. I use my dining room floor to lay out my quilts, as once I move the table it is the only room with enough open floor space. And then the kitties have to investigate, and "help." The first two pictures have been rotated 90° to the right when I loaded them up from my phone. The last one is as it should be. The stitching that was done by the long arm machine is visible on the finished quilt if you can enlarge it enough.

@HippieChick58 Wow. That really is a detailed work!

@Robecology Quilting has been described as cutting large pieces of fabric into smaller ones, sewing them together, then cutting again and sewing together, and sometimes again. Pity the poor fool who asks me why bother 😉 because it is beautiful. And fun....

I like the asymmetry.

hankster Level 9 Aug 13, 2020

My sister calls it very "me." I went deliberately for the asymmetrical.
