Today is Dale Chihuly's 72nd birthday. He is the foremost glass artist in the world (IMHO), I visited the glass museum in Tacoma some years ago and walked in the bridge of glass.
A mind-expanding experience.

Thank you for that link, Robecology. I have been seeing his work all over. He was a resident artist some time ago at the Rochester Institute of Technology. I was introduced to his work then and have been seeking it out in every museum I come in contact with. Sometimes I think I want to combine mushrooms with a visit to see his work, but that much beauty would probably kill me.
