I finally got this into a frame today - I've had this tea towel since Christmas and there was no way it was getting used for it's actual purpose - and than I thought about using and embroidery frame on it.
Today I had dragged out the iron and the ironing board for other fabric and got the piece nicely flat - and I had the hoop. After I got it loaded into the hoop I trimmed it with pinking shears and I folded the edges over the back of the frame and used Liquid Stitch to keep the edges down to the back of the frame.
Now to find a location to hang it!

@RavenCT I have counted cross stitch projects waiting to be completed that I was working on when I met the father of my children, sooo 1982. I plan to finish them one day.
