Dam that, beaver! Get it? Bad huh....How far from your house? That's alot of water and I thought it was dry, there.

about 2 miles. Without the beaver it would probably be 6 inches deep. Maybe 20 feet cross. That is the water supply for 15.000 people

He has to, The hot springs is a 3 tier affair about 20 feet from the river. People are there almost all the time and some go swim in the river not far from this dam.THe other night he surfaced about 5 times and we were standing up to observe him.

@NothinnXpreVails I like it but I hope his trusting ways don't get him in trouble. THe outlet for the acequias is downstream from his dam. SO far he hasnt cut off the flow but if he does I fear for him.
