Jet's almost 8 months old and so far I have broke him of the barking madly at strangers-they give him a treat I bring with me, he still likes to chase cats with me on the other end of the leash. He likes mud, I have to practically give him a bath to get him into the house. It was caked on his feet pretty well this morning. He knows sit, stay, down, come and heel. His comes aren't reliable unless I'm carrying (hotdogs or cheese). I really need to practice more but the humidity stops me, too hot. At least he hears some commands. His barking goes off at cats, other people, dogs, he often refuses to come in the house, hey don't bother me if he stays outside. Well if you have a puppy in need of training please try to find an AKC class for beginnners. I can't find one around here-I'm on my own. I go to the park for distractions.
