This a subject that came up in the Zoom meeting.
Alan Bennett - Talking Heads
It will be quite sometime before normal film/TV is being made again. The monologue seems to be the best game in town atm. We have all gotten quite used to someone speaking to a screen.
"Talking heads" is not a new idea from Bennett but it seems very appropriate now. If you are unaware of this writer then may I introduce a national treasure. He was the subject of a film with Maggie Smith "The old lady in the van" and has been a preeminent British playwright for many decades.
Anyway, he is one self-contained episode. Yes, it is a little slow but there are no car chases in a monologue. Persevere, things will unfold and as you watch, think of the spaces in between the words.

Funny enough, my ex saw him just this Xmas. She had been taken to lunch by her daughter at the Everyman theatre bistro. The place was quite packed and they were trying to get a table. One group looked as if it was gone, leaving one old guy dressed like Col Sanders standing by the table. Her daughter had gone to the bar so she walked up and asked if the table was free? Sure enough, it was and she sat down whilst he got off. Only when he daughter came over with the drinks did she know who he was ha ha.
