Where or when are you the most happy?

In general on vacation, traveling somewhere i have never been. I remember a few years ago sitting inside a cafe atop capri sipping a fine white falinghina wine watching the yachts move between capri and naples.....i was amazingly happy.

If anybody feels they can explain men to me, I'd appreciate that. I need a refresher course.

I like it! My sister was named Elizabeth. When ibwas an infant and learning to speak i called her little bits. We are both over 60 and its still my nickname for her.

Who remembers "Hickeys" in school? I had to cover mine with make-up or be beat by my parents!

All on my own . I went to Catholic elementary indoctrination. The nuns wanted to host a debate. Did the pope have the right to draw the line of demarcation in South America separating the Spanish and Portuguese interest. I was in 7th grade. I volunteered to take the no side. I think I lost unanimously. And all I remember thinking in 7th grade is who the fuck was the pope to give away other people's land. I never looked back. I was done.

King Peep, loss is hard to get over. The love of my life dumped me. I had moved and expected her to join me, but she dumped me after I moved. In winter. I really struggled. But what I ended up doing is making a list of everything I liked doing and making sure I did 3-5 of them every week. Outside hikes in the woods, play racketball, hear live music. And everytime I thought of her, I imagined taking her essence and putting it away in a lockbox. I imagined the box getting smaller and smaller. It took time, and a change of seasons, but a new rythym of life emerged, annd ultimately its toxic to want to be with someone who doesnt value you. Its now been 30 years. I can't say I ever forgot her totally, but years have gone by when I didnt think of her.

What wisdom would you pass on?
