There are men and women who hold men and women to standards that are ludicrous. I have been reading Incel crap through a female friend of mine and much of the rhetoric I read smacks of this issue. We no longer seem think that people are, or can be, just people.

Specifically in the Incel case, I think it's more of a VolCel than an InCel, meaning that they choose, voluntarily, to act in a way that women, largely (hey, there is one of every kind in a sufficiently large crowd), despise and thus these guys feel shunned... because they should be for acting in ways that society doesn't agree with.

It's less about women being too discriminate, though there is a component of this for both genders. It's more about these guys not realizing that they are acting in a vile misogynistic fashion and most of the women out there are not going to put up with it.

These men scare the crap out of me. They also anger me. So many women have been rejected as mates for a variety of reasons and resign themselves to a life of celibacy and they never turn to this kind of violence and hostility.

No, there are shitty guys on the internet but they don't get together outside the internet. Claiming they are an organized group is quite a stretch. Most of these men have no voice in real life and their tough persona is entirely online. They are not "known" for acts of terrorism, they talk a big game but other than online harassment and false accusations, they are spineless.

I'm not saying they're not a significant problem, they definitely are and they need to be dealt with. A lot of the problem lies in their anonymity as they are able to freely harass and threaten women without consequences. Meanwhile the women have these claims, accusations, and threats attached to their real names. Their family, friends, and co-workers end up hearing about it and the threats on their personal safety cannot be ignored.

What I am saying is, deal with them accordingly. They're not a problem for homeland security and they won't go away until the internet is a different place.

I'd say it is worse than that. It starts out as a minor depression with an identifiable and focused trigger, that they than will look for online group for because they feel isolated and alone. We can all relate to this.

They are no identifying as Incel yet. What they found are group that happily being than in and then tell them that their lack of sexual success isn't because they have too high standards, have a bad personality, refuse to step out of their parents basement, but because women are shallow and start to attack them.

It is a gradual push toward this bullshit extreme using the same tactics as ISIS, and neo nazi groups. They make you part of the group and attack and bully you whenever you want to take a step back and try to better yourself.

From here they push for violent attacks against those that cause their woes, being mostly women but also sexual successful males.

They are brainwashed dolts, that are only one leader away from causing major damage.

This is just too debased, and weird a cult to even attempt to understand. Shoot on sight. No prisoners.

People who wish to be violent will always find an excuse and a target. Sadly, this is just the flavour of the month.

When I was younger this would be the sort of thing a man would keep under his hat, being an involuntary celebate was certainly not something he'd want to draw the attention of others to.

They sound like a group of as....les. In reality, it is not the fault of women in general that men are unable to have sex outside or marriage, it is the fault of laws against prostitution that are at fault. There are always women available for willing sex for money in Nevada where prostitution is legal.
