I'm a fan. I've been watching the snippets on youtube. I'm not sure it's worth watching the whole thing. It's a bit painful to watch Patrick Stewart, but we're all getting older. Also, the story skips around so badly, it's hard to be invested. And, yes, I totally resent all these paywalls. The one thing I especially miss from the original series is the complete lack of serious music. I guess the level of action doesn't allow for moments of suspense. I'm betting it's only of interest to fans like myself, and then, barely. Pretty much nothing memorable. All the more kudos to Roddenberry.

Tennesee has severe cannabis laws, so THC concentrate is probably not an option. Becoming tolerant to the psychoactivity can seem problematic at first anyway. If that is somehow still an option, THC hits a lot of the same cells as opiates.
A possible alternative may be large doses of CBD or hemp extract (in tincture). If CBD is available, you might try gradually taking more to see if you get any relief.
Chaga extracts are also anti-inflammatory but be cautious in case the active agent includes an NSAID.
