First post in this group: In 2017 I experienced a severe auto-immune flare up that lasted about 6 weeks. Eventually I was diagnosed with systemic lupus and put on a very expensive immune system suppressant. Have begun dodge triggers and find strategies to prevent future flare-ups. The following article says that blueberries can prevent inflammation at specific times of the daily biological cycle.
"An antioxidant that has been linked to the benefits of blueberries could help reduce excessive inflammation at night. Suppressing the immune response at specific times of the day could reduce inflammation caused by illness or injury."
Does anyone have any other info about preventing an auto-immune flare up?
