I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes shortly after my daughter was born in 2008. I also have low thyroid and arthritis that (thankfully) only flares up once in a while. Thanks for creating this group.

A friend of mine picked him up off the end of her driveway because he could no longer walk and brought him to the vet. I've got him up from 6 pounds to 9 pounds. He loves humans, but has PTSD issues with other cats from years of being beaten up on the streets. He's about 9-12 now, so middle aged.

One of my senior cats was just diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes after he lost half his body weight. So I'm sharing insulin with him and I've got him back up to 10 pounds.
@JulieBFree, my cat Peeshee had diabetes, but they never specified type. I bought Lantus for him for years. He died of Kidney Cancer a few years ago.
@TaraMarshall That's what I'm sharing with Jersey, my Lantus. They actually didn't specify with him, I just typed that out of habit.
