I'm on vacation until July 10th and I'm traveling to Montana with a co-worker and her kids. The trip is great so far however I'm worried that my friends and won't baby my caterpillars quite like I do normally. Here are some caterpillar pics from before I left Pennsylvania: Polyphemus (Antherea polyphemus), Cecropia (Hyalophora cecropia), Regal (Citheronia regalis), Promethea (Callosamia promethea), and Rosy Maple (Dryocampa rubicunda).

Oh, what I would give to be asked to caterpillar sit for somebody!!!! How do you "baby" yours? Any conversation? Handling?

I tend to talk nonsense to mine, when I am lucky enough to have them... (;

Lol, yes I talk to them. I try not to handle them too much because it's easy to damage their little legs and feet. But I like to make sure they have plenty of high quality feed and if it's hot or dry I like to take a spray bottle or and mist their leaves.
