When asked, it seems people really don't have a concrete answer as to why they want children. What are some answers you have heard?
To me, there are no good reasons to have kids. Perhaps this why they can't really give you a good answer.
To take care of them when they get old...
To have grandchildren to carry on the name...
Because it is God's will...
Motherly instinct is strong...
Accidentally got pregnant so why not...
Bored...
To "save" the marriage...
I could go on and on...
But, to be fair, my nephew and his wife just had a child...they originally did not...they waited until they were both past 30...they traveled all over the world before having the child...their reason for changing their mind?
They just truly wanted to be parents and a child to love and teach...
