I hope so, too! Heck, I didn't even know canvassers were paid. I thought they were all volunteers, but her face value alone after this would make her a great addition to the Beto campaign.

@Lauren Democrats in Texas will blockwalk for candidates, Many republican campaigns will hire it out so that they don't look so white. The also hire outside groups to hire the individuals so that they have plausible deniability if something like this or worse happens.

Perhaps we can meet in person in the not to distant future....I would truly enjoy meeting some of the great people who are members here in Texas. Maybe doing some traveling would be good for me.

@Lauren I have a dear friend who lives in Rowlett Texas, and I've said I need to get up there to see her again soon. I will look into a mini trip for the fall and perhaps make some plans to stop and meet up with a few members in the Northern part of the state. That would certainly lift my spirits!!
