31/07/2018 Diet Diary - everyone welcome
Yard work, measured and lined up for gutter installation and caulked under the window in the repair process. Also had water exercise class tonight. Cut off "work" after that as I decided I WAS NOT going to get sweaty again today. (I think it is the drugs! )
Eating today went well until after swimming, had kept it around 900 calories for the day but then around 9 PM, (just outside the eating window) lost my mind and had a good handful of peanuts, followed by a square of fudge that has been stashed in the freezer since Christmas. (gift from friend) That pushed over 1100, probably an easy 1200, hoping not more than that.
Didn't report last week as I left home early so didn't have weight at regular time. Weight loss for the last 2 weeks was 2 pounds. Not a big loss but not bad. In my older (wiser) age, I came to understand that I don't need to drop the weight at whirlwind speeds, just keep it dropping steadily. I stay away from most of the "special" diets that I tried in my younger days. Although many of them worked, some better than others, they set me up to rebound as soon as I quit. When I get to feeling real impatient, I will throw in an extremely limited day. Usually cures my impatience.
LOL, impatience and hunger are at war, which is good. One must fight the war as long as possible.
Goal: consume between 1100 and 1200 calories a day indefinitely. Goal weight 200 lbs. 150 to go, 100 lost already.
Breakfast
100 potatoes
050 sunflower seeds
Lunch
250 PB sandwich
250 Chili and Vegies
Dinner
300 taco
250 pan (Tex-Mex sweet bread)
Exercise
Goal: 200 steps and 1000 curls w/ 5 lbs/hand
Did: 200 steps and 1000 curls
Posted by OldMetalHeadI hit a new weight milestone this week. Still trying for the six-pack.
Posted by OldMetalHeadThe hardest part for me is not falling back into old bad habits after meeting goals.

Posted by JonnaBononnaI had finally gotten back on track after gaining back most of the weight I lost a couple of years ago.
Posted by JurneeI have to say, as an overweight karate instructor, this is the one patch that I was ok with never getting.

Posted by DotLewis7 March 2020 - Diet Diary - Been quiet around here lately. I've not been on vacation, just keeping a low profile and trying to stay on top of things. Are those things incompatible?
