11/10/2018 - Diet Diary- For anyone to share their diet day in a comment below.
Sometimes I'm late to make these, so please feel free to do so yourself. Just copy this preamble and change the date.
Thought I had created this post and left a comment. Spaced it out; my CPAP mask broke and I got another, but it didn't work right. Last evening I plugged a couple of the holes so it would pressurize my airways and got a good night's sleep first time in several days.
I also ate to much yesterday, less than 2000 calories and no exercise.
Had a hard freeze last night, good thing I got plants in yesterday. Trying to save cherry tomato plant until next week when temps are supposed to come back up. It is a really good tasting cherry tomato so would like to get a few more ripe. The rest of the green ones are going to be fake strawberry jam.
Need to organize yet, tomorrow is trip to Kearney for appointment, will likely eat out after and shop at Menard's (my favorite store) Friends are taking me, really nice as driving home is not great. They don't go regularly but when they do they don't let me put gas in their car so will buy them lunch.
1/2 healthy grain bagel, 2 oz deli sliced chicken breast, 1 tsp light mayo - 229
2 coffees, with creamer - 60
10 grapes - 34
2 cups watermelon - 91
cheesy cauliflower soup 2 cups, 2 servings raw tomatoes - 331
2 cups watermelon - 91
5.5 almonds - 42
Yoplait light yogurt - 90
Total for the day, 968 Under 1000 limit I set for today. Tomorrow will go higher, don't like to go more than 3 days under 1000, get a turn-down of metabolism. That works since we will eat out. Will check the calorie counts if on the menu. Last week reminded me that maintenance won't be a shoo-in, it takes no time to pop up 2-4 pounds. MUCH faster than losing 2-4 pounds. I am resigned to having to monitor my weight very frequently, like NO LESS than weekly and maybe more often, for the rest of my life. Bad habits can be controlled but the urge to resume them remains.
That sounds like good advice.
Posted by OldMetalHeadI hit a new weight milestone this week. Still trying for the six-pack.
Posted by OldMetalHeadThe hardest part for me is not falling back into old bad habits after meeting goals.

Posted by JonnaBononnaI had finally gotten back on track after gaining back most of the weight I lost a couple of years ago.
Posted by JurneeI have to say, as an overweight karate instructor, this is the one patch that I was ok with never getting.

Posted by DotLewis7 March 2020 - Diet Diary - Been quiet around here lately. I've not been on vacation, just keeping a low profile and trying to stay on top of things. Are those things incompatible?
