I'm currently at 250 lbs. Last week I restarted going to the gym again. Last time I dropped to 225 and I felt better than I ever did... which was about 4 or 5 years ago. One thing I noticed is that my BPM last week hovered around 150 and today was around 130 while on the elliptical, so I guess something is working! Another thing I've noticed is my back is killing me. I guess it's from not using my muscles! Anyhow, does anyone need an accountability buddy? If so, message me because I could use one or two!

Feel free to pop in as often as you like or need to for support/encouragement. It isn't real active here but EdEarl posts a daily "diet diary" comment and I try to add my post to it each day as it tends to keep me honest. We are all in different places in our "battle" with weight but we share the reality that it is a battle so supporting and encouraging each other comes easy.

I personally find that posting daily keeps me on track and even without a lot of input from others, it is a way to self monitor and has been a great tool as I work on losing. That won't work for everyone but if that sort of thing might help keep you "accountable" please drop in frequently and add your comment to the daily diet diary. You can leave as much or as little info as you want. I tend to be chatty (could you guess?) so will ramble a while about my day but that is just me. Hope to see more of you on the group, keep us posted on how it is going.

Your experience sounds a lot like mine. I find its easy to control what I eat, but not to maintain a consistent workout routine - I'll lose about 15 pounds, but the pounds don't stay lost. Then I'm back to the muscle aches that come with restarting my program - I agree it does take a lil help.
