11 July 2019 - Diet Diary - Well, in the way of weight loss, mine has outmaneuvered me again. Had hoped to declare victory today by being at 140 or less. NOPE! Got a bounce today, up to 141.2, annoying but it happens. Could have been a salt thing, did have some peanuts last night. Could have been failure to stay well hydrated yesterday, did drink less than usual. Doesn't really matter I guess, will push forward and hopefully see a drop within a couple days. Finished today at 1095 calories, will keep it around that tomorrow as well. Have to start over counting days at goal. 😛

Hi Dot! Yea....I did the same thing....I bounced up today, as well...to 146.

But I know why....I had a package of ground beef that needed to be used.

The daughter-in-law made some lentil and kidney been mix for me that was rather bland...so I added the cooked beef with fresh garlic, tomato sauce, paste, chunks, and some hot chili spice. Wow....too good to eat just a little...so...oink-oink...I pigged out.

I'll measure out portions later today and eat the rest in smaller portions - I promise!

That does sound good. Can't blame you for having more than intended. I'm really thinking I will make that Zuppa Toscana this weekend. Have plenty of kale and some real cream and that soup is just SO good. Will have to go to the store for a couple potatoes though. We will get over the bounces, part of mine was gone today. Good luck with yours.

Posted by JonnaBononnaI had finally gotten back on track after gaining back most of the weight I lost a couple of years ago.

Posted by JurneeI have to say, as an overweight karate instructor, this is the one patch that I was ok with never getting.

Posted by DotLewis7 March 2020 - Diet Diary - Been quiet around here lately. I've not been on vacation, just keeping a low profile and trying to stay on top of things. Are those things incompatible?
