Civil Rights: Tool of Communist Deception
Ezra Taft Benson Prophet of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

There is no doubt the so-called civil rights movement as it exists today is used as a Communist program for revolution in America just as agrarian reform was used by the Communists to take over China and Cuba.

“While Black lives will always matter, many have used the movement to stand for other things that don’t "command universal support", such as abolishing police or making constitutional government changes...the current political climate heightens strong feelings and anger toward the recent push for racial equality. Inspiration, education and clear thinking are three helps that will allow people to better understand and find solutions for racism...We must have clear thinking about how current events should be analyzed and acted upon...Only the gospel of Jesus Christ can unite and bring peace to races of all nations. ”
What is the police record amoung racial minorities in Utah? I believe the percentage of non-whites is pretty low in the state, but they are present. I also know racism is alive and well in Mormondom, knowing several from my generation who were openly racist.
And, the current leadership does need to square their current beliefs with those of past leaders like Brigham Young who stated that race mixing meant an immediate death sentence, and their basic support of slavery.
