The aim of creation was to have believers forget that god tried repeatedly to populate the world through incest. Science did not exist yet and god really liked incest. For this to really really work you have to understand that man lived a very long time in those days and his lifespan was greatly shortened later by that incest. This caused god to be busy trying to save mankind from something that god himself had done.

It's all perfectly clear. Look at the trees.
