Thank you short beauty for the invite. Well, greetings and salutations. Yes I am new to Florida... (Kind of) I lived in N.Miami back in the 80's for a year but didn't like it much. Ijust moved here from Kansas City MO. I did NOT like the sub freezing temps.. Ya KNOW!? Two years of cooking summers, deep freeze winters, tornados, flash floods, ignorant bible thumpers, cops that think the bill of rights is a "selective theory" and non-negotiable.
Honestly, I feel like I went back in time to pre Magna-Carta... (I'm not joking!) Prior to KC I was in Oregon where I was born and raised.
Anyways, I don't know anyone outside of my family and people I work with here in Zephyrhills and as I write this I'm sitting at Rhythm & Brews.... I know, BORING! RIGHT? Tasty IPA's here in Fl. Though.
Cheers and I'll be here in the shadows, lurking, waiting to post... (Muuhahahaha)
No, I'm not a megalomaniac dreaming of world domination, it's the IPA's fault. Blame the beer.

Well; Welcome Home. I have traveled a lot and I know what you mean about back in time. Haha. There are parts of this country that is way back there.
