Hello everyone! i saw this question somewhere on twitter, so i decided to share it with my intellectual community. Please share yout thought.
Do you think it is bad for someone who does not not believe the existence of God to work against God's existence by attempting to show that he doesn't exist?
Belief means hold something (information) as true.
If something clashes, or goes against what you hold as true, then it would be a matter of finding the best verfication for what you hold as true or finding verfication for what is "clashing " against what you hold as true.
Why do you think God would be a "He"?
it's not "bad" to work against the #religulous....but I've found it's better to be passive.
It's a personal decision. No one - no one act, or event, or experience - made me "go agnostic' ...it was more of an evolution than a revolution....
So all I suggest is that those who 'work against God's existence by attempting to show that he doesn't exist" are trying to convince themselves. That's not a bad thing....but for many of us....we just don't need evidence - or lack of evidence - in our faces.
We just come to know the truth...as an evolutionary act.
God can hold his own or there’s no God.
Like if a disaster happened and all Bibles and Christians were dead and lost forever how do you think God reboots the religion racket?
See it’s all a joke, or there would be more than one appearance, and the accounts would agree mostly right?
We would know how he reboots if he was there, when we went to China for example they’d already know.
No one outside the cult ure ever knows God X from any cult.
Just how would a person go about proving God’s non existence do you think? It’s not bad to try to do so...it’s impossible. It is only possible to prove the existence of something, by providing credible evidence, something believers are unable to do. As no positive evidence of God’s existence exists it is therefore impossible to prove or disprove it. One simply cannot prove or disprove a negative.
