On quite a few occasions, small children have taken an immediate liking to me. I often wonder if little kids like adults who are different, who are kind of eccentric. What do you think?
It seems that we are born with a sort of "knowing", then as we grow in our sociocultural milieu, we adopt the thoughts and beliefs of the group and lose that original openness to truth and often have to fight to get it back. Children are open until an adult messes them up. My in-laws hated me. But the kids always ran to me whenever they came to the house. Sigh... it was sweet.
Iām sure they do...they pick up on quirkiness. Anything or anyone out of the ordinary will pique their curiosity.
I experience the same with children and animals. Certainly I enjoy their company and perhaps they sense it.
Little kids and animals often like me right away. I think they enjoy beings who are kind of different.
@SKH78 I tend not to be āin their faceā so I think that helps. I am not saying I am kind of different as the jury is still deliberating. ? not that there is anything wrong with that. Lol
