I'm tired of people who believe in miracles. "It's a miracle we met here today." or "Jesus was a healer, he made miracles happen." Miracles are impossible to prove and the best way to disprove them is to use probability math, but it seems that people without advanced education are incapable of grasping that. Can someone enlighten me on a way to help these people understand?
Deprogramming a life time of B.S. is a life long commitment. Hard to do when they are regular church goers.
then again, if a black man can turn a KKK wizard away from the clan, almost anything is possible.
He put effort into it by learning more about the Klan then the Klan knew about themselves. I think that is the lesson. To get them to cross over to reason, you have to learn to think like them and teach them how to be reasonable.
“Flogging” and “dead horses “ springs to mind! What they have is blind faith, no amount of reason can rebut that!!
YEP,,,zombified. If I look close,I see KOOL aid dripping
out of thier ear holes.
The media use the term "miracle" or "miraculous" to get your attention. I once heard the media claim that it was a "miracle" that only 5 people were killed by a tornado. So, how many people have to get killed for it not to be a miracle? 6? 7? 10?
It would take a miracle to help them understand!!
