I used to have a garden; but I retired and moved to a condo on the beach; and had to give it up...but not for long. First I discovered a local group that took care of a "memorial garden" just a few hundred feet from my condo. Then I discovered a community garden that featured raised beds, fences, and even provided seeds tools, and plants! I'm so happy to have discovered them. For those familiar to the Ft. Pierce, Florida area, I'm talking about Ocean Villages' garden and Heathcote Botanical Gardens in Ft. Pierce. Heathcote features the biggest collection of Bonsai trees East of the Mississippi! They most recently featured a holiday-time treat called "Garden of Lights" whereby they decorate many of the featured parts of the 7 acre+ garden with very carefully arranged lights. Get in touch if you want more info!

Good for you! Gardening is therapy for me. Don't know what I do without it if I couldn't get out there now and then.

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
